Welcome to the ASCM Grand Rapids Chapter

APICS Grand Rapids Chapter has transitioned to a new name: ASCM Grand Rapids Chapter to align with our global parent organization ASCM - The Association for Supply Chain Management.  We are always here to serve you and the supply chain community, whether we are called APICS or ASCM.

The primary mission of the ASCM Grand Rapids Chapter is to educate members and non-members in supply chain and operations management, including production, inventory, materials management, purchasing, and logistics through classes, seminars, and meetings.

ASCM Grand Rapids Chapter is a partner with ASCM, a not-for-profit international educational organization and the premier association for supply chain management. ASCM is the leading provider of research, education and certification programs that elevate supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience. The APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM); APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP); APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD); and APICS Supply Chain Operations Reference-Professional (SCOR-P) designations set the industry standard. With more than 45,000 members and approximately 300 channel partners, ASCM is transforming the way people do business, drive growth and reach global customers.

The health and safety of our members, guests, and community is our top priority. Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our community, the ASCM Grand Rapids Chapter Board of Directors has made the following decision with regard to our current and future programs, effective immediately.
All ASCM certification review courses, seminars, professional development meetings will continue virtually.
We will continuously monitor the conditions and the recommendations of the CDC and the Michigan Department of Health.  Updates will be posted here and shared with our members via email.  If you have an idea or recommendation to utilize the resources of our community, please share that with us.  We are open to any and all opportunities to collaborate safely as we all navigate this difficult situation.
