Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations

The ASCM Grand Rapids Cancellation/Refund Policy differs according to the event type.  Please read the cancellation and refund policy below according to the type of event you are attending.

Professional Development Events

Cancellations are allowed up to twenty-four (24) hours before the event starts.  If you have paid in advance with a credit card or check and your cancellation is received no later than 24 hours before the event starts, a full refund will be provided.

Cancellations and Refunds after the event starts or twenty-four hours prior to start time will not be allowed and you will forfeit any payment made.

Education Classes, Seminars and Other Programs

ASCM Grand Rapids reserves the right to cancel any course, class, seminar or other educational program for any reason. In the case of a class cancellation, registrants will be notified by phone or e-mail and all collected fees will be refunded.

All payment is expected in full by the first day of class. Payments not received by the first class will incur a $50.00 late fee. 

Educational materials payment is due at time of registration. Please recognize that while class fees are refundable, the costs associated with educational materials are not refundable. Should you cancel a class for which you have already received educational materials, the price/costs associated with those materials will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. These associated prices/costs include, but are not limited to; the educational materials, such as learning systems, slide books, handbooks, etc.; shipping and handling fees and taxes.

Cancellations carry a $100 cancellation fee before the start date. No cancellation will be processed after the first class starts. Cancellations must be emailed to: admin@[email protected]. 

Important – For an email notification to be valid, you must receive a confirming email informing you that ASCM Grand Rapids received your email.

If you fail to attend a class for which you were registered, without notifying ASCM Grand Rapids as specified above, you forfeit the class fee.

Processing a Cancellation/Refund

Anytime before the event starts, log in to the Member Area and go to View My Order History.   Select Cancel next to any registration.  Your cancellation is immediate.

If you paid for your reservation by credit card, be sure to Contact Us for a refund.
